Pre-Apprenticeship Training

A Pre-Apprenticeship Training Programme is a short training programme which can be used to screen potential apprentices, offer a work trial before hiring or it could be a way to temporarily increase your workforce at no extra cost. There doesn't have to be a vacancy at the end of the training.

The programme has been designed to give you, as an employer, up to six months to work with the young person to ensure their skills are developed in a way they truly suits your business and to assess if that young person is a right fit for your business.

Training
The core of the course will include CV skills, interview techniques, application support and team building.

We will tailor the training to the sector, for instance:

  • Construction we could incorporate a CSCS card, health and safety
  • Engineering we could incorporate EAL, health and safety
  • Admin we could incorporate customer service, Microsoft Office software
